• Bank of Palestine provides credit cards to its customers according to the creditworthiness of the customer, in addition to determining the limit of the card provided to the customers, which enables them to use the balance and pay the used amount within the card through installments or full payments.

• 1% “Cash Back” on purchases

The card is featured with a reward to its cardholders and returns 1% of the amount of purchase transactions made by the customers to all purchases outside Palestine through VISA Signature Card. This feature will be activated for a period of upmost 3 months.

• Lounge Key Access

Access to waiting lounges to VIP customers in more than 650 airports in 300 cities around the world through the “Lounge Key” program, without the need to obtain another card to access the lounges (such as Priority Pass card), in which they can just show the card to the staff members in the lounge. VISA Signature cardholders can download the “Lounge Key” app, which helps the cardholders to learn more information about the program, and note their visits, and to inquire about the lounges contracted with service, in addition to modifying the personal information of customers.

• Personal Assistant Service
  • The Personal Assistant Service provides the VISA Signature cardholders with assistance 24/7.
  • The personal assistance that cardholders can receive:
    • Travel: arrangement of trips, airline reservations, hotel reservations, car rental, tourist activities, and general information.
    • Food: tips about the restaurants present in the visited country, table reservations at restaurants, and special orders.
    • Shopping: tips and advises about the shopping centers and the best prices, search for a particular product, and the Personal Assistant Service during shopping.
    • Lifestyle: search for babysitters, reservations in a particular resort, and planning for recreational trips.
  • Work mechanism of the service:
    • When calling for the first time, the Personal Assistant requests information related to the card of the customer to validate the identity, in which the customers’ information will be available to the Personal Assistant (for one time only).     • The service is requested by the cardholders, and they agree on a mechanism for communication between the Personal Assistant and the customer to search and respond to the customer’s requests.
    • If the service requires a payment, the customer is given a choice to pay through the VISA Signature, or through other methods compatible with the customer and the nature of the selected service.

Commissions, Interest and Features of VISA Signature Cards

Conditions to receive a Card

• Open a bank account at Bank of Palestine.
• The card is provided with a credit limit compatible with the segments and the creditworthiness, and according to the policy of providing credit cards, and the classification of customers to receive a card.
  • Customers who have a monthly income equivalent to or more than $2,500, or equivalent in other currencies
• Signature of the form “Application to Receive a VISA Signature Card” No. 5/86.

Limits that govern the card in purchases and cash withdrawals locally and internationally

• Limit of one transaction in US dollars or equivalent in other currencies

• Limit of transactions on daily basis in US dollars or equivalent in other currencies

• Limit of transactions on monthly basis in US dollars or equivalent in other currencies

• Customers can increase the limits above, pursuant to a formal request to the branch to receive an approval, in order to increase the limits above if needed, and the need of the customer justifies the request to increase the limit.

When travelling outside of Palestine

• Customers must contact the Bank through the Call Center, in order to inform them about traveling and confirm the validity and operation of the card.
• Ensure that the countries to be visited are not within Bank of Palestine’s blacklist.
• If the country to be visited is within the blacklist, based on a request from the customer, the card will be given access to operate in the country at the responsibility of the customer; a new card will be issued immediately after the customer returns from travelling.
• The countries included in the blacklist are: Argentina, Russia, Thailand, Australia, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, South Africa, Mexico, and Ukraine.
